An individual lease means peace of mind for residents and guarantors. As opposed to a traditional joint lease in which all of the tenants of an apartment would share financial responsibility for the entire unit, an individual lease means residents are only responsible for paying costs associated with their room. The administration fee is intended to cover the costs associated with returning your apartment to “like new” condition. However, keep in mind you will be responsible for general cleaning of your apartment prior to vacating.

The Nest Application includes a section all about Roommates. You will be required to complete this section when you complete your application. The information you submit in the Roommate’s section will help us to match you with like-minded roommates based on your information and personal preferences.

Yes! Non-emergency maintenance requests can be submitted via our resident portal and will be handled as soon as possible. Our average turnaround time for completing maintenance requests is within 24 hours during the work week. 24-hour emergency maintenance is provided by calling the office number. If calling after hours, you will be prompted to leave a message; follow the automated instructions on the office number, and your message will be responded to by our on-call service technician. Here at The Nest, we strive to provide residents with the utmost comfort and convenience.

No, residents will not be charged for standard maintenance repairs. Charges are only issued for repairs due to negligence.
